“Your services are no longer needed.”

Almost five years to the day, we got that same call AGAIN

Repeated #layoffs left us feeling out of control of our own income,
out of control of our own lives even!

Five years ago, we were in panic mode
Updating LinkedIn
Sending out resumes
Making all the calls
Attending all the events
Talking to all the recruiters

But we learned our lesson

This time around we were prepared
A year's worth of income saved (in our life insurance policy) from selling a property
Passive income from our rentals
Equity built up in commercial projects

This time around, "Your services are no longer needed" resulted in a bigger opportunity

Our passive income saved us from panic
So even though we are not yet earning enough to be living a lavish lifestyle,
security and sanity and peace are step 1 and FAR more important!

Now we spend time together full time,
we run a business to help others invest and find #financialfreedom,
we are open to opportunities without feeling pressured to create them or hunt them down like crazy starving people

PS - That life insurance policy I mentioned above just saved us big time, more on that coming up
